LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION APPRENTICE

We are currently seeking an apprentice to train with our Landscape Design & Installation team to implement landscape renovation plans for upgrading, enhancing, and transforming a property for our residential and commercial customers.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Manual labor outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.
    • Removal of existing plants, trees, and sod, soil preparation, weed control, topsoil application, plantings, mulch application, and sod and turf grass installation, as well as trimming and pruning.
    • Digging, trenching, stump grinding in preparation for drainage and irrigation installations.
    • May be asked to assist with the prepping and installation of projects that requires stone, rock, paver, gravel, or similar materials.

    The person selected for this apprentice position will receive paid, on-the-job training under the supervision of an experienced landscape professional. Entry level and experienced workers, as well as military experienced candidates, are encouraged to apply. Our team of experts will introduce you to the detailed skills and best practices of landscape design and installation.

  • Requirements:

    • Must be able to operate a range of mechanical equipment, including sod cutters, stump grinders, trenchers, chainsaws, and tillers, as well as hand and power tools, to complete assigned tasks.
    • Must be able to pick up 50+ lbs.
    • Ability to meet or exceed the physical demands of this opportunity, including frequent bending, lifting, standing, walking, squatting, and twisting.
    • Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
    • Eager to learn and take direction.
    • Ability to speak and comprehend instructions in English; Spanish-speaking a plus.
    • Must be hardworking, reliable, and possess good time-management skills.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Requires a cell phone capable of downloading/installing a required work app.
    • United States work authorization is required.
    • Must have taxpayer ID or Social Security Number
    • Must be willing to submit to random drug testing.
    • High school/GED preferred, but not required.
  • Compensation/Incentives:

    • Full-time, day shift M-F; some Saturdays as needed. No Sundays.
    • Starting pay: $12/hour, plus approved overtime; paid bi-weekly. 
    • $500 sign-on bonus, paid out $250 after the first 60 days of work, with remaining $250 paid out after completion of 4 months of work.
    • $10.00/day meal allowance provided.

HARDSCAPE/STONE APPRENTICE

We are currently seeking an apprentice to train with our hardscape and stone crew in the construction of paver patios, walkways, planters, retaining walls, tree rings, and other landscaping design services.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Manual labor outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.
    • Prepping and installation of projects that require stone, rock, paver, gravel, or similar materials.
    • Some landscape planting, mulching, sodding, and irrigation work may also apply.

    The person selected for this apprentice position will receive paid, on-the-job training under the supervision of an experienced landscape professional. Entry level and skilled workers, as well as military experienced candidates, are encouraged to apply. Our team of experts will introduce you to the detailed skills and best practices of landscape design and installation.

LAWN TREATMENT SALES TECHNICIAN

We are currently seeking an apprentice to train with our Premium Lawn Treatment team as a Lawn Treatment Sales Technician. We provide an environmentally responsible approach to lawn, tree, and plant fertilization, weed and pest management, and soil testing for residential and commercial properties. We are committed to using superior products, specifically based on our keen observation and the individual needs of our residential and commercial customers.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Generate leads and sales by offering, free, no-obligation consultations/estimates. 
    • Door-to-door community outreach.
    • Perform specialized treatment applications, including seasonal fertilizers, pre- and post-emergent herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and specifically targeted tree and plant feedings.
    • Implement specialized lawn services, including aeration and irrigation assistance. 
    • Properly identify and diagnose insects, pests, weeds, and fungus conditions prone to our area.
    • Ability to take composite soil samples for professional testing and analysis.
    • Focus on superior customer service.

    The person selected for this apprentice position will receive paid, on-the-job training under the supervision of an experienced landscape professional. Previous sales or industry experience is a plus, but not required. Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Our team of experts will train, coach, and introduce you to the detailed skills and best practices of premium lawn care and treatment.

  • Requirements:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Must be hardworking and reliable, with advanced problem-solving and time-management skills.
    • Must be self-motivated and excel in a results-oriented environment.
    • Eager to learn and take direction.
    • Ability to calculate and determine area square footage.
    • Ability to communicate with and educate the customer regarding the diagnosis and the prescribed services offered/needed.
    • Professional appearance.
    • Must be able to pick up 50+ lbs.
    • Ability to meet or exceed the physical demands of this opportunity, including frequent bending, lifting, standing, walking, squatting, and twisting.
    • Must have a current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    • Rewards-based pay: $7.50/hour, plus commission and bonus (opportunity to earn $40,000+/year).
